In addition to strengthening the theoretical basis necessary for pedagogic, cultural and artistic activities, the Kodály Culture in Hungary and Worldwide Specialist Postgraduate Programme lays stress on the practical application of Kodály's cultural concept. The programme trains music teachers in primary education enabling them to develop colourful, varied and impressive music classes, using the most recent methods and the personality-forming and educational power of musical training. Teachers can thus gain a much broader musical and pedagogic knowledge and learn how to integrate a knowledge of European art in a way that contributes to the efficient use of educational and personality development tasks in public education, culture and primary artistic education. We welcome teachers from other fields as well, as this programme helps develop those abilities and skills that will enable specialists in cultural and artistic education to better represent and disseminate Kodály culture both in Hungary and abroad.
